Dealing with Stains

Do you also struggle removing stains from your clothing items? Don’t worry you’re not the only one, we all have the same problem. Getting stains on your clothing item is a common thing it is always unpredictable, and very hard to avoid. There are so many different substances that can stain your clothes. Every stain has a different remedy, and the material of your garment will have an impact on how you clean it. So, what do you do when you get a stain on your favourite jacket, dress, or shirt? Here are some useful stain removal tips for removing a variety of stains from your clothing.

There are many ways and tips about how to remove stains from your clothing items, but the most important one is to treat your stain as early as possible. When dealing with the stain directly you will need less time to let the stain soak in, that will make the process to remove the stain easier. If you think that just soaking the stain won’t be enough to remove the stain, try to use some pre-treatment before soaking the stain. The pre-treatment process can be done with special stain remover or some washing powder (see following pictures for some pre-treatment products). After doing the pre-treatment for the stain you can wash the item according to the fabric care instruction you can find on the label of the product. If the stain is still there after washing, try to repeat all the steps again and do not put the item in the dryer until the stain is completely removed. Drying up the item will make the stain go into the textile and that will only be harder to remove in the end.

Sadly, there are also stains that are not removable even after washing and after using stain treatments. This is still an unsolved problem for all of us. Some people try to use textile paint to fix the unremovable stain, but the textile paint won’t last forever, and it is very hard to find the exact color you’re looking for.
